Traditionally, replacing a connector requires sending the instrument back to the manufacturer, resulting in additional cost and downtime for field technicians.
VeEx has now introduced a new connector design that can be easily and quickly replaced in the field, either by Netscope or directly by the user.

This patent-pending solution significantly extends the service life of optical fiber test instruments by enabling field replacement of connectors while protecting the calibrated ceramic core from wear and damage.
The new connectors are available with APC or UPC terminations for single-mode fibers and are supported across all instrument models, including the FX150+ OTDR, FX120 PON Analyzer, FX41xT Series Selective Optical Loss Test Sets, and PX90 PON Service Installation Meter.
Netscope Solutions will supply all optical instruments with the new connectors and provide user training for their replacement.
